August 27, 2026 - Tiptap v3

All @editorcn/editor and @editorcn/block-editor components now run on Tiptap v3. This brings newer extension APIs, consolidated kits, and a modern Floating UI-based bubble menu.

Highlights

• Tiptap v3 everywhere — @tiptap/* packages across the app and both packages were bumped from v2 to ^3.
• Bubble menu on Floating UI — BubbleMenu is now imported from @tiptap/react/menus, and tippy options were migrated to the Floating UI options prop (placement, offset). @tiptap/react/menus resolves natively under v3, so the previous webpack workaround was removed.
• Table consolidation — table extensions are now registered via TableKit from @tiptap/extension-table (which bundles Table, TableRow, TableCell, and TableHeader), matching the v3 recommended structure.
• Named imports — updated the docs and code snippets that relied on v3 default exports that changed (@tiptap/extension-table, @tiptap/extension-text-style).
• Clean dependency tree — the remaining v2 Tiptap transition packages (drag handle, node range, collaboration) were pinned to v3, leaving no v2 leftovers.

Upgrade note: if you're consuming @editorcn/editor or @editorcn/block-editor, ensure your own @tiptap/* dependencies are on v3, and import BubbleMenu/FloatingMenu from @tiptap/react/menus rather than the @tiptap/react root.
